American History Central Under Development

The development of American History Central is underway. The site will provide links and information on state and local museums, historical societies, and historic locations. The site will provide a search engine that will allow visitors to conduct research via Google across the complete set of online digital encyclopedias. The American History Central project will also include the development of encyclopedias that focus on specific topics and periods from American history.

Forgotten Men Digital Encyclopedia Under Development

The Forgotten Men, scheduled to fully launch near the end of 2009, is an online digital encyclopedia of the Great Depression. The site will use our Encyclopedia Content Management System (eCMS). This website is part of our American History Central network of websites.

CMS and Hosting for Pauline Home Association

Pauline Home Association is a non-profit organization that helps senior citizens manage their bills. Their new site uses our content management system and we also provide hosting.

Search Engine Optimization for Compliance Systems

Compliance Systems has launched a new website that promotes their scrap and recycling software. We performed keyword research, HTML coding and copywriting services for the new site.

Real Estate Referral Group Website Launches

Real Estate Referral Group helps realtors maintain their licenses during the slide in the real estate market. The site features our content management system and allows realtors to create accounts and submit leads online.

The Nonesuch Dickens website celebrates the new Nonesuch Dickens collection published by Overlook Press.

Foster Equipment Sales Launches

Foster Equipment Sales in Springfield, Ohio offers grain storage and transport solutions from the most reputable vendors in the agricultural equipment industry. The logo for the site was created by Doug McGuire.

DuffyHomes.com Redesign

We have redesigned the website for Duffy Homes, a prominent Columbus Ohio home builder. Search engine optimization played a key role in the design and structure of the new site, which also integrates functionality from Google Maps.

Vision & Vocational Services Launches

The website for Vision & Vocational Services, a non-profit organization that provides services to the disabled, is now up and running. The site features an online store and has been developed using our custom-built content management system.

Digital Encyclopedia for Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities

We have been hired by the Louisiana Endowment for the Humanities to help them develop their online digital encyclopedia, KnowLA, using our Encyclopedia Content Management System (eCMS). KnowLA is scheduled to launch in June 2010.

Whole Earth Catalog Chooses R.Squared Communications for Website Design and Content Management System

We are very proud to announce that we have been chosen by New Whole Earth LLC to take over the design and development of WholeEarth.com. Whole Earth Catalog, from which the website was born, was started in the late ’60s by Stewart Brand. In many ways, Whole Earth Catalog was a print-based forerunner to Google, and was mentioned as such by Steve Jobs in his 1995 commencement speach at Stanford University. Jobs said, “When I was young, there was an amazing publication called The Whole Earth Catalog, which was one of the bibles of my generation… It was sort of like Google in paperback form, 35 years before Google came along: it was idealistic, and overflowing with neat tools and great notions.” The new version of WholeEarth.com will launch in January of 2008.

Coding for New Ardent Property Management Website

We are partnering with illustrator and designer Doug McGuire on a new website for Ardent Property Management located in Columbus, Ohio. We are bringing the XHTML, CSS and JavaScript for the site up to compliance with W3C web standards. The site will launch by the end of December.

Angel Heart Health Care Insurance Launches New Website

We worked with Paul Noia Design of Cincinnati to develop a new web presence for Angel Heart Health Care Insurance. For our part, we developed a members-only portal and integrated their registration process with PayPal to allow people to make donations when they sign up.

Free Home Estimate Microsite Launched for the Parrish Team

Microsites can be an effective way to target specific audiences to generate leads and sales. For the Parrish Team, we developed this microsite that allows people to ask for a free estimate of the value of their home in Columbus, Hilliard, Dublin, Upper Arlington and Central Ohio.

Parrish Team Website Relaunches with New User Interface, Enhanced Listings and Upgraded CMS

We worked with the realtors at the Parrish Team to develop a Roadmap for their website. A major portion of the Roadmap dealt with updating the their flagship website so that it could provide more information to people looking to buy, sell or invest in real estate in Central Ohio.

Ohio History Central Relaunches with New User Interface, New Features and the Framework for a Social Network

Since 2005 we have worked with the Ohio Historical Society to manintain and improve their online encyclopedia, Ohio History Central. In August, we updated the website with many new features and a new, cleaner user interface. We also integrated a Google Custom Search Engine. During the upgrade to the administrative back-end, we put the framework in place for a new social networking portal. The portal will allow people to set up accounts on OHC and create a “backpack.” They will be able to add links to entries and images to their backpack, which they can use for research purposes or share with other community members.

Development Begins on New Community Housing Network Website

We are working with Sevell + Sevell to develop a new website for Community Housing Network, a non-profit organization that provides housing to people with disabilities. Sevell + Sevell are doing the design and we are handling the coding and integration of our content management system. The site should launch towards the end of 2007.
